Citroen Electric Cars!
The Citroen C1 Ev'ie has ben developed by the Electric Car Corporation.
The Ev'ie is probably one of the first practical electric cars available to buy in the UK. It has all the features of the standard C1 car including loads of safety devices and has a range of 75 miles with a top speed of 60mph.
The car can simply be plugged into any domestic power socket and can recharge within 6 hours for just 95p.
It is currently being targeted at the London market as there will be no congestion charge and also some free parking places.
The one hiccup at present is the cost and with no extra support yet from the government this may well be a major obstacle.
