Daihatsu Electric Cars!
Daihatsu has a well established pedigree in producing alternative powered vehicles.
They currently produce natural gas and fuel-cell vehicles but at the moment the official line is that they are waiting on battery technology progressing to the point that electric cars become more viable.
However it is interesting that the Charade has become a bit of a cult car for do it yourself conversions to electric!
This may well point to the future path for Daihatsu electric vehicles.
