Peugeot Electric Cars!
Peugeot already have some considerable experience in the electric car market with the popular 106 electric and have now developed an EV that they hope will have mass appeal.
A very practical little city car, the iOn is a 4 seater that is very easy to handle and has zero emissions. It's Lithium Ion batteries will have a range of 80 miles with a 6 hour trickle charge but very interestingly they also have a 30 minute rapid charge capability which will provide around 60 miles travel. This puts them ahead of their competitors in practicality.
It has been developed in conjunction with Mitsubishi.
