Vauxhall Electric Cars!
Well, this is it - probably the best looking electric car ever and one which might actually help save a struggling company.
It is a sort of hybrid in that as well as a normal battery charging facility which will provide up to 40 miles travel it also has a petrol driven mini electricity generator within the car itself which would provide an additional 250 miles travel.
But the main difference and uniqueness is that although it's a 1.4 petrol engine that powers the generator it is not used at all for propelling the car, but just simply for charging the battery.
This makes it fundamentally different from other Hybrid cars and combines the desire for an electric car with the sort of range that drivers demand.
